School Life Recall

Nursery/Kindergarten.
remembered crying a lot on the first few days of school. classrooms were called studios. think i was in studio 13. haha. honestly they had more playing than studying at this sch. always playing with wooden blocks. having organ lessons also i think. once i celebrated my birthday in sch and i wore this yellow frilly dress. =/ rem angeline and stephanie. oh and angeline actually went to the same jc as me. after like 10 years in different schools, we're in the same jc!

Primary.
P1-P3 charity
took the school bus to sch on the first day. found the way to the hall all by myself can. still qt proud of this fact. carried a really weird bag with a picture of 2 cartoon rabbits. in p2 i think i changed my bag to some mickey mouse bag. aiyah, zong zhi, i changed my bag every year. loved those pencil cases with a lot of buttons. best friend was jasmine ong. still keep this card that she made for me. oh we loved drawing bobdog back then. no idea why.

P4 kindness
form teacher was ms jen. still can remember her face!! hmm, had lotsa smart kids in my class. some people wenta take the GEP test and changed school. oh ya. ECA(what it was called then) selection week. i was down with fever for the whole week and i ended up in maths club cuz i had full marks for p3 math EOY?! and eventually was elected vice-pres? wth. haha. but maths club not very math-y actually. did lotsa other stuff like playing captain's ball and making board games. loved the math club teacher tho. mrs chiam! tho she went to another eca after one year, she still remembered me in p5and6. haha, dun need to greet just say hi kind. dunno what we did in there for 3 years but i had 2 of my 3 best frens with me in there. lavrina and marie. lynn was in ... hmm, cant remember. anyway really had a great time with these 3people esp marie. had swimming lessons too..

P5-P6 patience- totally WACKY days.
marie and lynn went to gentleness. but we still remained good frens. always met at this particular table during recess. speaking of the canteen i remember the pink plate noodles that we bought and walked around the canteen eating. then the chick peas, 50cents icecream cone, the yakult/vitagen with toy, the yellow noodles... :) went around to marie's after school a lot. stayed over before as well. remember making our own dinner once. pasta. then watching tv tog, tht civil defence benedict cant rem surname show. that pyramid show host. had lotsa fun!! still rem a lot of incidents at her house, her house corridor etc. oh made new frens too. better ones were like winnie, liane, shalane, serene, jasmine(my nu er!), lingyi( my seat partner)... oh and we really played. always had a group of 5-6 of us playing block catching. i tell you, its freaking scary... cuz u never knw who u'll meet... sometimes u meet the catcher and it'll be ahhh! run! then when we wanted to end the game we had to shout really loudly for each other. once liane totally drenched me in sch with water from her waterbottle! went for movies with lav too i think. on the eve of NY, we had a party at winnie's hse... played with sparklers and such. another incident... we bought those ribbon sprays, like one each and we ran around spraying each other. screamed lots. hanged out with liane rollerblading. oh and i rem the slope at marie's pl's park! rollerbladed there a lot but we hadta turn left at this junction if not we would crash into the drain further down. like super ci ji. always very gan jiong. rem lynn crashing into the grass at another slope. oh was introduced to ice skating as well... so shiok! luckily i learnt rollerblading first so i didnt have much trouble. after one hr cant glide pretty smoothly le. hmm, had a terrible time choosing sec school... and btw, i went for chinese tuition in p5. i was taking h.chinese ironically. yea, like im supposed to be not bad in chinese right. think i wasted my mum's money cuz i always went there with only a pen. didnt prepare for tests and stuff. haha. ahahaha. now is boasting time. had 2nd in sch for prelims- 270. still have the presents. piyo piyo stuff. but end up psle 260 nia.

oh and i liked chapel. we had a hymn book and sang every day. haha. our fav was "this is the day" i can still rem the lyrics...

another was "he" but we only sang it during music lessons.

i shall talk about secondary school another day. tired.
