no more choir this coming week~
today i was blocked by all the drums. AHAHA. yay!
and i felt so embarassed singing the song for sarah with grace. lol.
this is going to be a long entry but firstly,

HAPPY MOTHERS' DAY to my biological and spiritual mother!

on my biological mother
my mother was trying to fall asleep this afternoon.
she couldnt and so she prayed.
when she closed her eyes, the words "Timothy 1:5" flashed in front of her.
she isnt very familiar with the bible yet since she received Christ ard 1month ago and she didnt know that the books of 1 and 2 Timothy actually existed in the bible.
her first thought was: sounds like a dog's name.
but since there was "1:5", she suspected that it was a bible verse.
since it was not stated whether which book of timothy it was, she looked at both 1 and 2 timothy (when she found out that they actually existed...)
1 Timothy 1:5 The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.
2 Timothy 1:5 I have been reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.
sounds pretty much the same to me in a way?
she said that sometimes she felt that she didnt have enough faith and perhaps was being affirmed?
anyway, she managed to fall asleep after this.

on Jackier Pullinger's conference
jackie pullinger is such a wonderful woman who truly knows the heart of God.
what i caught during sat's conference was how we need to love, in action.
we cant only say, we need to DO IT. (like she said, giving out coloured booklets aint sincere at all!)

on today's service
each of us all have our own race to run. it was a race God set for us, before we were even born.
we need not admire other people and need not seek to be like other people.
we were all fearfully and wonderfully made for His purpose. we are all unique
we need to know where we came from, where we are and where we're going.
was just pondering about this last week and i thank God for today's message.
i want to fight the good fight, finish the race and keep my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
i pray that in times of self-doubt, i will not doubt God and will allow Him to use me as an instrument.

misc thoughts on what Jackie Pullinger said
we give because He gave.
jackie gave her oboe. she gave so much of her life to help the poor.
what can i give?
financially, i find that i am willing to give so much more than in the past, to bless people freely using my money.
i thank God for that for i give because He gave. and all we have belongs to Him.
jackie pullinger also spoke about kindness today.
indeed, a little kindness goes a long way.
i pray that we will not get caught up in the numbers but instead be true to ourselves and be true to God.
i pray for a heart of kindness to help other people and to be a daily blessing.


sometimes my heart just pains so much for the many out there who have not known Jesus.
may i be a good and faithful servant.

on other things in my life
tmr i'll do another atc follow-up.
most probably going for atc meeting instead of the shenyang fundraising hip hop, seems like the meeting's very impt.
time for my schedule in the week ahead again...

wed: elective + meetup with the chinese?
thurs: elective
sat: atc dry run

i have some weird rashes. =S

i just thank God so much for my physical and spiritual family. =D
