went for a jog with God just now and He revealed some things to me.
[erm, i have been on exercise hiatus since... i cant even remember when.]

when i first started jogging,
i was reminded of this song I will run to You by Darlene Zschech.

And Your hand, it comforts me
From the ends of the earth
To the depths of my heart
Let Your mercy and strength be seen

You call me to Your purpose
As angels understand
For Your glory may you draw all men
As Your love and grace demands

And I will run to You
To Your words of truth
Not by might, not by power
But by the Spirit of God
Yes, I will run the race
Till I see Your face
Oh, let me live in the glory of Your grace

the last stanza spoke to me, especially since i was running.
why didnt i stop when i was running?
because i knew that there was an end and i was looking forward to it during the last part of the run.
why shouldnt i stop in my run with Jesus?
because i will meet Him one day!
there were quite a number of slopes along the way.
sometimes i slowed down, sometimes i sped up.
during my walk with Jesus, sometimes i tend to go slow and sometimes i go fast.
as long as i do not stop, as long as i continue running this race for Him, i will see His face.
the past 2months or so have taught me that indeed it is impossible to live life by my own might or power but the ONLY way possible is by the SPIRIT OF GOD.
by grace, i have been saved.

BY GRACE, I LIVE (:

dear Father,
i thank you for releasing me from my stress and for letting me see that without you as 1st priority in my life, it is impossible to live. thank you for teaching me this valuable lesson and i thank you for putting i love all around me to support me during this time. i pray that i will do everything for your glory, to do everything as a worship unto you. "this little light of mine, im gonna let it shine...let it shine let it shine all the time" allow this little light of Jesus to shine ALL the time. i thank you Lord for your grace and mercy.
In Jesus' most precious name i pray,
Amen!
