CNY was different this year.
went to Bintan with my mum's extended family. 23 people in 2 resort villas.
the ferry ride to Bintan was really torturous.
many many people got seasick and vomited. i was sitting in the last row and someone standing behind me was vomiting. was so afraid that the vomit would get on my head or sth. having had previous experiences of seasickness, really thank God that i didn't get sick this time.
the ride back was much better. the air con was blowing stronger too. haha.
anyway this trip probably marks the end of my current passport.

hmm the time spent there was rather enjoyable.
saw firecrackers for the first time. it was freaking loud!!
played soccer on sand.
played on the slide in the wading pool at night. we all got really crazy just sliding repeatedly down the 3m long slide. its nothing like the ones we had at fantasy island and FAR from the one at big splash but we all had good fun (i haven't been to wild wild wet before)
played captain's ball in the swimming pool.
soaked in the sun.
tried to get warm in the sauna but failed because it's super lousy.
watched the last 2 episodes of shou zu.
had one international breakfast buffet.
saw some WEIRD sea creatures.
snake encounter!
praying mantis, spider, housefly & MAGGOT encounters.
super cold air con.
slept like super early on both nights. woke up pretty early too.

the best part is i didn't do any academic work AT ALL since chu yi till like yesterday night 8+ pm when i started on my 214 assignment & 202 reading.
that was like almost 4 whole days of relaxation. =D
