went to Seoul for a short trip on friday/saturday.
after our lesson on friday which ended at ard 5pm, we went back to hall to get our things.
had dinner at the hall cafeteria before leaving the school!
our train ride there was 2h on the slowest BUT cheapest train (: rather spend the money saved on shopping! haha.
but before reaching the train station, we had to walk to the KAIST main gate+take a bus+take the subway train+walk somemore. we left the school at 6+pm and only reached the KTX station close to 8pm. maybe the next time we go, we will explore other cheaper/more convenient routes.

our first destination was to dragonhill spa- a jimjilbang. that's us at the jimjilbang's entrance.
it's 24h so it was actually considered our lodging for the night as well.
we had to be naked to go into the spas so we only went for the saunas and the cold room.
the saunas were of varying temperatures, starting from 38degC.
there was one that was UBER hot. it was only seconds before we started perspiring.
what was strange was that when our perspiration dried, our skin was not sticky! in fact it felt very smooth!
after going through the sauna experience twice, we had boiled eggs and some ricey drink which tasted weird.
there were many areas that we could sleep, on the floor that is. so everyone just sprawled around trying to sleep. at first some of us slept on the massage chairs (that weren't on of cuz, we had to pay) but moved to the floor as it was too warm on the chairs! we were given pillows so it wasn't that bad. i suspect the cleanliness of the pillows though. as usual, it was very difficult for me to fall asleep and i only slept for a max of 2h.
some weird guy sang karaoke near the place that we were sleeping at FOUR AM and it was super zao sia. urgh.

the next morning, we bathed in a really awkward way because it was a communal bathroom.
had to wash our hair first wearing our clothes...
headed to dongdaemun and it was a full day of shopping! liked migliore and hello a pm the most.
doota tower was totally revamped and i couldnt find the artbox-like shop anymore. :(
some of them were really disappointed with how some of the people in seoul (i think mostly ahjummas) jostled and elbowed their way ard.
btw, my shoes are really on the verge of giving way after the many days of heavy usage in japan and some usage here.
will try to buy new shoes if they are cheap. in the meantime, i will survive on my havis. haha.

they are thinking of going jogging later again!!! ahhhh!
(yes in the end, i went jogging again. i NEVER EVER jogged like twice in a week before except during JC and that was PE/CCA. hello to a healthy lifestyle!)
